Who to contact

Information used to provide tutoring
- Account details such as name, email, role, profile photo, and parent–student–tutor connections.
- Learning details such as grade, course, bookings, lesson summaries, messages, and uploaded attachments.
- Invoice and payment-confirmation details and lesson-credit records. Payments take place through the payment provider; do not send us payment passwords or card details.
- Support inquiries and tutor applications, including resumes when submitted.
- Technical information used by hosting and service providers, such as request details and security logs. Our email protection also uses hashed identifiers to limit repeated requests and duplicate tutor applications.
How information is used and shared
Information supports account access, tutor matching, lessons, communication, payments, support, and abuse prevention. Assigned tutors receive the learning and contact information needed to teach and communicate. Linked parents can receive lesson summaries and manage their learners. Authorized administrators can access information needed to operate and support the service.
Service providers include Supabase for accounts, database and file storage; Hostinger for website hosting and email delivery infrastructure; Calendly for scheduling; and PayPal for payments. Opening a booking calendar may send the learner’s name and account email to Calendly to prefill the booking. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices, and information may be processed outside your country.
Browser storage and external services
The website uses browser storage for sign-in sessions and preferences. Embedded scheduling and externally hosted scripts can make requests to their providers when loaded. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or reset preferences.
Young learners
Edusorb currently serves learners aged 13 and above. Learners aged 13–17 need parent or guardian permission and supervision. Under-13 participation is not currently supported. If you believe an under-13 child is using the service or has submitted personal information, contact contact@edusorb.com so we can restrict further participation, investigate, and address deletion as required. Parents may contact us about their child’s information; we may need to verify their authority before disclosing or changing it.
Retention and your choices
To request account closure or deletion of your information, email contact@edusorb.com from your registered email address. You may also request access or correction. We may verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. We delete information that is no longer needed and will explain any information that needs to be retained for payment records, legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution. Closing an account does not automatically settle remaining credits or refunds. Avoid sharing sensitive information that is unnecessary for tutoring.
Inactive accounts
After 365 days without signing in, accounts with no unused purchased hours or unresolved payments may be deleted after an email warning to the registered email address. Inactivity does not cause purchased hours to expire. Information needed for payment records, legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution may be retained as explained above.
Lesson recording
Edusorb lessons are not recorded.
